    Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic has become a major global public health problem. So that WHO informs the public that it is advised to practice proper personal hygiene, such as frequently washing hands with soap to reduce the spread of the virus. Promoting public accessibility to water, sanitation and hygiene facilities is important in reducing the spread of the virus and ultimately reducing the COVID-19 pandemic. Hygiene technology such as hand washing is needed to reduce the spread of the virus.has been made Automatic smart handwash using solar power. The purpose of making this tool is to determine the design, working principle and accuracy of the calibration results. The working principle of this tool is that when the proximity sensor detects an object, the proximity sensor sends a signal to the ATmega328 microcontroller to turn on buzzer, then the servo motor rotates to open the faucet. Then the flow meter sends a signal to the ATmega328 microcontroller to display the discharge and the volume of water that comes out on the LCD. The test results after calibration between the measuring cup as a standard tool with the flow meter displayed on the LCD obtained data with an average error accuracy of 0.058%.
