    Abstract
    A monitoring for the implementation of social distancing has been made as an effort to prevent the transmission of Covid-19 based on the Samsung Galaxy A03s cellphone. Making this tool with the aim of measuring the distance between people using IP Webcams. IP Webcam is a type of digital video camera commonly used for security monitoring and can send and receive data over computer networks and the internet. This tool uses the You Only Look Once (YOLO) method, an algorithm developed to detect an object in real-time. This tool works by using an IP Webcam as input, then the input is connected to a PC/laptop in a network using Wi-Fi. Then the video recorded by the IP Webcam will be displayed and processed. Then the distance detection in people is carried out using the YOLO method. Then the distance is calculated when there are people somewhere. Nex t, the distance between people will be displayed in the JP Webcam program and the pc/laptop. From the test results, it was found that at a camera height of 170 cm and a distance of 280 cm from the camera to people, the most accurate detection of the camera was the placement of the camera. The average error value at a camera height of 170 cm and a camera distance of 280 cm from a person is 0.96%.
