Chicken eggs as animal protein are consumed by the wider community. One of the poultry industries that has an important role in providing the community with animal protein is laying hens. It is not easy to get the best quality eggs. Detectors are often carried out by farmers and sellers using manual methods which take quite a long time because they detect chicken eggs one by one by way of being exposed using sunlight or a flashlight, the results sometimes miss and are not optimal due to the limited sense of sight when tired. This study aims to facilitate and accelerate the work of farmers and sellers in determining the quality of broiler eggs.
The research method used is quantitative research. Quantitative research is an experimental research method. By conducting experiments on control variables (inputs) to analyze the resulting output. The result of this research is a chicken egg quality detector with NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller as the main controller, LDR sensor as input into the microcontroller which will be forwarded to the LCD as output. By using a chicken egg quality detection system, it makes it easier and faster for farmers and sellers to determine the quality of broiler eggs using the LDR sensor as a detector of good or bad egg quality.
