Gaya Komunikasi Orang Tua yang Terbatas dengan Teknologi dalam Pengasuhan Anak Generasi Alpha (Studi Kasus Orang Tua Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu Ar-Rayhan Kota Medan)

Abstract

This research is entitled "Parents' Limited Communication Style with Technology in Raising Alpha Generation Children (Case Study of Parents of Ar-Rayhan Integrated Islamic Elementary School, Medan City)". The aim of this research is to determine the communication style of technology-limited parents in raising Alpha generation children and female students at Ar-Rayhan Integrated Islamic Elementary School, Medan City. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research methods. There were six informants in this study. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and literature study. The collected data will be analyzed using condensation techniques, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The data validity test was carried out using triangulation. The results of the research show that parents' limited parenting patterns with technology for Alpha generation children in introducing digital technology are correct and appropriate according to their children's ages, even though older people are limited to technological developments. 6 informants explained that they tend to use an assertive and aggressive communication style in raising Alpha generation children.
