dc.description.abstract | In this era, not a few housewives carry out dual roles as housewives and workers. Many factors encourage mothers to carry out a dual role by selling, namely economic conditions that do not allow if they only rely on income from their husbands, which makes household needs insufficient, and encouragement to continue to provide education and a decent life for children. By running a business as a small trader, it is hoped that it can meet the needs of the mother's household. This study aims to find out how the dual role of women in working mothers in Sena Village, Batang Kuis District, Deli Serdang District. The main informants in this study were housewives who carried out a dual role by running a business as small traders in Hamlet X, Sena Village, Batang Kuis District, Deli Serdang District. And additional informants are the closest people to working mothers in the form of husbands and children. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively so as to obtain the conclusion that in carrying out her role as a housewife, the mother is also assisted by her husband and children so that the mother's workload is more or less reduced, due to the division of household duties, the mother's domestic role as a housewife is not disturbed and carried out properly. | en_US |
