dc.description.abstractIndonesia is a country that has great natural resource potential Natural resources so far in terms of utilisation are still very inefficient. The fuel to make electrical energy sources is obtained from fossil energy sources such as coal, fuel oil and other sources, if used continuously, fossil energy sources will run out over time. Overcoming the situation of electricity use, we must look for alternative energy sources to increase the efficiency of energy sources by using existing energy sources, there will be efforts to increase and streamline the use of new power plants, especially those that use renewable energy and wasted energy such as iron heat from engine combustion, furnace heat and other heat sources, wasted heat generated by heat sources can still be utilised as a source of electricity generation using Sebeeck effect technology. In this study, a waste combustion furnace was made as a heat source installed with TEG type SP 1848-27145 SA. Based on the measurement results obtained data that to reach the set point temperature of the combustion furnace it takes about 20 minutes, at the same time the TEG type SP 1848-27145 SA installed has also started working and generating electricity on average 4-5.1V with an average current of 0.174. then flowed into the converter so that the voltage increased to 16V to be used to charge the battery.en_US
