dc.description.abstract | Fish farming is one of the economic livelihoods of most people. Fish feed is generally given manually using human power. However, this method has several disadvantages, such as being less efficient in terms of time and energy. For this reason, tools are needed that can simplify the feeding process. This research aims to design, create and test an IoT (internet of Things) based automatic fish feed dispenser and spreader using solar panels with the parameters studied being the effective capacity of the tool, IoT operation, distribution of thrown feed, percentage of crushed pellets and economic analysis. This tool is designed to make the work of fish farmers easier in feeding fish by controlling it via cellphone and using solar panels as an energy source. The research results show that the effective capacity of the tool is an average of 47.52 kg/hour. Operation of the tool using IoT functions well with a delay of 1 second. The break event point value of this tool is 7,791.84 kg/year. This tool is profitable to produce because it has an NPV value > 0, namely at an interest rate of 6% of IDR 77,035,432,-/year and at a trial interest rate 10% of IDR 68,588,582,-/year. Percent scale of the internal rate of return is 46.48% | en_US |
