dc.description.abstractThe many of brands of cooking oil in Pasar Sibuhuan Village, Padang Lawas Regency, makes it difficult for people to determine which superior cooking oil to use in cooking. So to get superior cooking oil, a decision was made in the selection of superior cooking oil using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The results obtained from research using the AHP method are the most important criteria sequentially in the selection of superior cooking oil, namely the quality of cooking oil with a weight value of 0.258, the price of cooking oil with a weight value of 0.256, the ease of obtaining cooking oil with a weight value of 0.254, and sales promotion with a weight value of 0.229. The superior cooking oil in Pasar Sibuhuan Village which is the first priority is Bimoli cooking oil with a weight value of 0.232, the second Tropical cooking oil with a weight value of 0.204, the third Sania cooking oil with a weight value of 0.203, the fourth Sunco cooking oil with a weight value of 0.189 , and the fifth is Filma cooking oil with a weight value of 0.170. The superior cooking oil in Pasar Sibuhuan Village which is the first priority is Bimoli cooking oil with a weight value of 0.232, the second Tropical cooking oil with a weight value of 0.204, the third Sania cooking oil with a weight value of 0.203, the fourth Sunco cooking oil with a weight value of 0.189 , and the fifth is Filma cooking oil with a weight value of 0.170.en_US
