dc.description.abstract | Radish are one of the agricultural commodities that are popular with
Indonesian people. White radish slicing is usually done traditionally, which has
high work risks, small capacity and requires a relatively long time, so technological
improvements are needed, one of which is the slicing process. The aim of the
research is to obtain The right blade distance (mm) to produce the best white radish
slices using a radish slicer. This research used a non-factorial completely
randomized design. The blade distance used in the tool was 1mm (P1), 2mm (P2),
and 3mm (P3). The parameters tested were the effective capacity of the tool, yield,
percentage of wasted material. The results showed that the smallest effective tool
capacity in the 3mm blade distance treatment (P3) is 55.73 kg/hour, the largest tool
effective capacity in the 1mm blade distance treatment (P1) is 87.053. | en_US |
