A hotel is a type of temporary accommodation facility where someone can stay for several days while traveling. In the city of Medan, the hotel room occupancy rate is quite high, reaching an average of 55.78% by the year 2023, which opens up great business opportunities for establishing hotels. The design of this hotel is located in the Transit Oriented Development (TOD) area, where a hotel is one of the necessary facilities in that area. There are several issues in the Medan Maimun area, including the lack of organized environment and greenery in the area. Therefore, green architecture is chosen to have a positive impact on the residents and the surrounding environment. This is one of the applications of green architecture, specifically the principle of Respect For Site. By implementing various methods and design steps such as selecting the appropriate location, design approach, literature study, benchmarking, design analysis, design concept, translating green architecture principles into the design, and finalizing the design, this design will present solutions for functional needs and address the challenges in the design process.en_US
