Pemetaan Risiko dan Strategi Risiko Usaha Budidaya Ikan Nila (Oreochromis nilocitos) di Kecamatan Sipirok Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the magnitude of production risk, price risk and income risk, to analyze alternative strategies in overcoming business risks, and to analyze how the behavior of farmers in facing the risk of tilapia aquaculture business in Sipirok District, South Tapanuli Regency. Data analysis conducted to determine the amount of production risk, price risk and income risk is a quantitative method with risk analysis to calculate the variance, standard deviation, coefficient of variation, lower limit value of production, price and income. To determine the risk assessment for alternative cultivation business strategies with likeliehood and konsequense tables. To find out how the behavior of farmers in facing the risk of tilapia aquaculture business used is the utility function. The results of this study indicate that the risk of tilapia production in the study area is low, the price risk is low, and the income risk is low, the alternative strategy in the cultivation business is to maintain a balanced temperature to prevent fungi and protozoa from disrupting the survival of fish, the behavior of tilapia fish farmers in the Research Area in terms of price is risk averse (Risk Averse) and in terms of production is risk taking (Risk Taker).
