The sustainable development of agriculture heavily relies on the role of human resources. The younger generation is lack of interest in the agricultural sector is attributed to their perception of farming as less promising. Consequently, the enthusiasm to develop agricultural potential for the future is not embedded in the mindset of the younger generation. Parents play the most significant role in their children's lives and be able to influence their perception of a particular field. This research aims to analyze interest perceptions and determine the factors influencing students' interest in becoming millennial farmers and parents' interest in encouraging their children to become millennial farmers. The method employed in this research is used multiple linear regression analysis to identify income, social status, working comfort, career development, and future assurance factors. The research results indicate that simultaneously, income, social status, working comfort, career development, and future assurance influence students' interest in becoming millennial farmers. Meanwhile, career development and future life assurance significantly influence the interest feel in becoming millennial farmers on a partial basis, while income, social status, and working comfort do not significantly affect students' interest in becoming millennial farmers.
