Analisis Faktor Partisipatif Masyarakat dalam Perencanaan Pembangunan Menggunakan Metode Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) di Kecamatan Medan Tuntungan Kota Medan

Abstract

One way to achieve development success in Medan Tuntungan District is to provide space for the community to participate. Community participation is the most important factor in determining the success of development. Medan Tuntungan District is one of the Districts in Medan City which consists of 9 Villages. The aims of this study were (1) to analyze and identify the level of community participation in terms of non-participation, tokenism, and citizen power variables in development planning in Medan Tuntungan District, Medan City. (2) analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors of community participation in development planning in Medan Tuntungan District, Medan City. The research method used in this study is a quantitative model with the participatory rural appraisal method and using factor analysis in the SPSS program. The results of the research are (1) community participation in development planning is influenced by indicators of consultation, delegation of power and citizen control; (2) in the process of community participation there are supporting factors in the form of opportunities, abilities and abilities, while in the inhibiting factors the community has individual characteristics and demographic conditions.
