Abstract

Rokan Hulu has various kinds of natural tourist destinations that have high potential if managed well, one of which is the Hapanasan hot spring natural tourist area located in Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province, but the pattern of resource utilization by the community and government has not been able to fully support the development of the object. This tourism area requires innovation in developing this natural tourist area. The objective of the study is to analyze the diversity of butterflies in the area Tour Natural Hot Springs Hapanasan, analyze the potency of Power pull tour natural-based butterflies in hot spring areas Hapanasan, analyze factor priority development tour natural-based butterflies in hot spring areas Hapanasan, analyze strategy development tour natural based butterfly butterflies in the hot spring area Hapanasan. Method data collection is carried out with method use method explore and do observation direct or Visual Encounter Survey used For diversity data collection butterfly, interview with respondents expert, study documents, as well as do focus group discussion, informant study totaling 9 people covering institution consists from Service Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports Regency Rokan Hulu, Regency Regional Development Planning Agency Rokan Hulu, Non -Governmental Organization. Research This results that the area tour natural hot springs Hapanasan own index of high diversity _ with an index of 3.13 – 3.91 and an index of evenness with category almost equally with mark index 0.77-0.95. Based on the results analysis object Power pull tour natural based butterflies in hot spring areas Hapanasan worth developing _ with the percentage of 80.5%, and results in analytical hierarchy process with priority development namely on the criteria aspect object and power pull tourism, sub-criteria objective structure tour natural form repair facilities and infrastructure, as well there is alternative form development capacity element equipment facilities and infrastructure, meanwhile results SWOT analysis states that area This is in quadrant 1.
