dc.description.abstract | This research aims to determine the effect of giving goat feces bokashi and chicory waste on the productivity of mini elephant grass (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Mott). This research was carried out in the experimental field of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara, the Compost Center of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara, and the Soil Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara. This research was started from May to August 2023. This research was carried out experimentally using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments, namely P0 = Without goat feces bokashi fertilizer and chicory waste, P1 = Given goat feces bokashi fertilizer and chicory waste 50 gr/polybag, P2 = Fertilized with bokashi goat feces and white mustard waste 100 gr/polybag, P3 = Fertilized with bokashi goat feces and white mustard waste 150 gr/polybag, P4 = Fertilized with bokashi goat feces and white mustard waste 200 grams gr/polybag, each treatment had 4 replications. The research parameters were plant height, number of tillers, leaf length, leaf width, fresh material production and dry material production. The research results showed that there was a real influence on plant height, number of tillers, leaf width, leaf length and fresh material production, dry material production. Using goat feces bokashi fertilizer and fermented white mustard waste at 200 gr/polybag showed better results compared to using 50-150 gr/polybag. This shows that goat feces bokashi fertilizer and fermented chicory waste are suitable for use as organic fertilizer to increase the productivity of dwarf elephant grass (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Mott). | en_US |
