dc.description.abstract | The absorption refrigeration system was the main coolant before the emergence of steam compression refrigeration machines which have developed to this day. Refrigerant is one of the most important components in a refrigeration system. Absorption shows the process of absorption of a substance by the absorbant as a function of time. This study aims to examine the effect of salt type, absorbant concentration, and absorbant time on the decrease in absorbant concentration, absorbant absorption ability, and water vapor absorption rate. In the research, a method was carried out using a factorial completely randomize design (CRD) consisting of three factors. The research result showed that the type of salt, absorbant concentration, and absorption time had significantly different effects on reducing absorbant concentration, absorbant absorption ability, and water vapor absorption rate. | en_US |
