Evaluasi Kinerja Operasi dan Pemeliharaan Sistem Irigasi Pulau Gambar Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai

Abstract

Pulau Gambar Irrigation Area is located in Serdang Bedagai regency which is irrigated by Sei Ular Dam where this research aims to evaluate the performance of operation and maintenance of Pulau Gambar irrigation system with observation method. The parameters observed to determine the performance of operations and maintenance in Pulau Gambar are the physical and functional condition of infrastructure, the level of adequacy and accuracy of water delivery, government institutional management, availability of funds, human resources, and farmer institutions. The results showed that the value of the physical state of the irrigation network infrastructure is very good is 4, the value of the functional state of the irrigation network infrastructure is very good is 4, the value of the level of water adequacy is very sufficient is 4, the value of the accuracy of water delivery is very precise is 4, the value of good institutional management is 3, the value of adequate fund availability is 3, the value of inadequate human resources is 2, and the value of good farmer institutional performance is 3. In general, the performance (O & M) of the Pulau Gambar Irrigation System is in a very good condition with a total score of 3.48.
