Modification is the process of changing shape from the old from to the latest form and improving the qualitu of the tool. Thus, the purpose of this study is to odify the household-scale corn sheller, by modifying the 5-inch, 6-inch and 7-inch pulleys, and modifying the number of threshing nails on the cylinder, so as to find out which one is more efficiently used in the corn sheller. This study used an experimental method, namely data collection and processing by testing variations in 5inch, 6inch and 7inch pulley rotation as well as modifications to rectangular, pentagonal, hexagonal blades. The results of this study showed that the highest effective capacity of the tool was obtained using a rectangular blade, the average effective capacity of the tool on the rectangle was 1.93Kg. The highest yield value is obtained from the 7inch diameter pulley modification treatment and the lowest yield is obtained from the 5inch pulley modification treatment. In the 7inch pulley modification obtained an average yield of 62.2%. The largest torque is known in the 7-inch pulley variation with a torque of 16.5723 Nm.
