dc.description.abstract | Eucalyptus spp. is one of the most widely genus planted for Industrial Forest (HTI) especially for pulp and paper production in the world and specifically in Indonesia, because it has superior properties, namely: high yield, relatively low lignin content and high strength of the pulp and paper produced. PT. Toba Pulp Lestari. Tbk has developed eucalyptus as a raw material for pulp and paper production. The amount of raw materials sent to the mill is insufficient because the productivity of eucalyptus in the field is reduced. One of the factors that affect eucalyptus productivity in the field is the type of soil and the clone used. The purpose of this study was to look at the macronutrient content in different soil types and to evaluate the macronutrient content in plant biomasas with different clones so that the nutrient conditions in the soil are maintained. This research was conducted at PT. Toba Pulp Lestari, Tbk with clones tested IND0073, IND0091, 4391/07, and 3524/01, which were 48 months old. This research was conducted from September to December 2022 in a clonal site interaction trial with a randomized complete block design (RCBD). The number of plants that became the research sample was three, with two replications. The samples taken for research purpose were soil samples, stem, leaf, branch, and bark samples from each clone in each soil type tested. The parameters of this study were plant growth for each clone, soil macronutrients for each soil type, and macronutrients in plant biomasas for each clone. The results showed the amount of soil nutrients at the research site Aek Nauli (N) 8951,5 kg/ha, (P) 313,3 kg/ha, (K) 1436,5 kg/ha, (Mg) 2096,2 kg/ha and (Ca) 556,5 kg/ha, Tele (N) 6273, 5 kg/ha, (P) 182,2 kg/ha, (K) 3547,9 kg/ha, (Mg) 2930,4 kg/ha and (Ca) 404,6 kg/ha and Habinsaran (N) 6941,7 kg/ha, (P) 143 kg/ha, (K) 1862,1 kg/ha, (Mg) 2344,8 kg/ha and (Ca) 527 kg/ha. The amount of nutrients in plant biomass the most was IND0091 with a total amount of (N) 305,1 kg/ha, (P) 40,1 kg/ha, (K) 241,6 kg/ha, (Mg) 58,0 kg/ha and (Ca) 384, 7 kg/ha while the least amount of nutrients in plant biomass was clone 3524/01 with nutrients (N) 243,5 kg/ha, (P) 26,5 kg/ha, (K) 172,2 kg/ha, (Mg) 35,2 kg/ha and (Ca) 202,4 kg/ha. The amount of nutrients in plant biomass is most in plant parts, namely in the stem of the plant with the amount of nutrients (N) 121,027 kg/ha, (P) 13,435 kg/ha, (K) 116,768 kg/ha, (Mg) 13,031 kg/ha and (Ca) 77,631 kg/ha while the least plant biomass production is the branch part of the plant with the amount of nutrients (N) 30,096 kg/ha, (P) 5,041 kg/ha, (K) 37,526 kg/ha, (Mg) 5,041 kg/ha and (Ca) 43,121 kg/ha. | en_US |
