dc.description.abstract | Evaluation of the physical and physiological properties of Malapari (Pongamia pinnata) seedlings based on a combination of seedling media and doses of NPK fertilizer was carried out to complete the database to support the preparation of technical guidelines for the preparation of quality seedlings. The test was carried out in a nursery with paranet shade in Singosari village, Lampung Province, from April to August 2023 to test 3 media compositions, namely M0 (Topsoil/Control), M1-Topsoil : Compost (1:1) and M3-Topsoil : Compost (1:1:1). 2) and three doses of NPK fertilizer (0 gr, 0.25 gr and 0.5 gr) in a completely randomized design with three replications. The test parameters observed included physical properties (Height, Diameter, Fresh Biomass and Dry Biomass) and Physiological Properties (Chlorophyll a, Chlorophyll b and Total Chlorophyll). The results of the analysis of variance on the physical properties of the seedlings showed significantly different variations in the height of the seedlings, while other physical characteristics (seed diameters, fresh biomass and dry biomass) and physiological properties were not significantly different. The results of the Duncan test showed that the M0P2 treatment, namely the combination of Topsoil : Compost (1:1) media, showed the best growth results for the height of the seedlings. The results of the topsoil macro element analysis showed that the N element (Nitrogen) has a very low value so that the addition of compost which has a higher N element in the composition of the planting medium can increase the presence of N element to support the growth of Malapari seedlings. | en_US |
