Medan City Cadika Park is a green open space area dominated by trees, with an area of around 25.6 ha. Trees in Cadika Park, Medan City play an important role in storing carbon. This research aims to analyze the composition of tree species and structure as well as the potential for carbon storage in trees in Cadika Park, Medan City. Carbon biomass measurements use volumetric methods and selected allometric equations. The results of this research show that there are 12 types of trees growing in Cadika Park, Medan City. Of the tree species that dominate, there are 63 mahogany (Swietenia macrophylla) and 30 tree species (Samanea saman). The results of this study also show that measuring carbon biomass using the volumetric method provides greater results than using the selected allometric method. Based on volumetric method calculations, Cadika Park, Medan City, has carbon reserves of 73.74 tons/ha. The range of selected allometric methods for carbon savings in Cadika Park, Medan City ranges from 43.20 tonnes/ha to 60.95 tonnes/ha.
