Pengelolaan Asuhan Keperawatan pada Klien Rheumatoid Arthritis dengan Penerapan Senam Rematik untuk Mengurangi Nyeri di Gang Eka Budi 2 Medan Johor

Abstract

Rheumatoid arthritisis an acute or chronic joint inflammation that is associated with a variety of symptoms such as pain, stiffness, decreased range of motion, and joint deformity. Joint pain experienced by rheumatism sufferers results in reduced daily activities which can reduce productivity. The disease process also threatens a person's ability to carry out personal care and decreases the quality of life. Rheumatic gymnastics is one of the physical exercises that aims to prevent and relieve clinical symptoms of rheumatism as well as additional treatment for rheumatoid arthritis sufferers in the calm phase. This type of writing uses the case study method to determine the problem of nursing care in patients with the main nursing problem Rheumatoid arthritis with a nursing care approach that includes assessment, nursing diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation. On clients 1, 2 and 3, the diagnoses were obtained, namely acute pain and sleep pattern disturbance. The results of the nursing evaluation carried out after doing rheumatic gymnastics found that the three clients had reduced pain, and disturbed sleep patterns had improved. Nursing students are expected to be able to apply all the concepts and practices they have acquired during their education in managing nursing care for clients with rheumatoid arthritis.
