dc.description.abstractDiabetic wounds are a frequent complication of diabetes that occurs in the ankle area, increases morbidity, and reduces the patient's quality of life. This study aims to analyze the effect of ozone therapy stimulation on diabetic wound healing. The research method used quasi-experimental method with pretest and post-test non-equivalent control group design.Respondents of this study were patients suffering from diabetic wounds at Edwacare wound care center in Langsa city, consisting of 28 respondents receiving modern wound care and 28 respondents receiving modern wound care and ozone therapy. The wound severity assessment instrument used the Bates-Jensen Wound Assessment Tool. Data analysis used Friedman and Mann-Whitney Tests. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there was a significant effect of ozone therapy on diabetic wound healing with a p-value <0.05. In conclusion, it is known that ozone stimulation has a significant effect on the healing process of diabetic wounds and is recommended as one of the nursing interventions in diabetic wound care.en_US
