Abstract

This final project analyzes the impact of the SAMSAT Drive Thru service on the compliance of motor vehicle taxpayers in the city of Medan. SAMSAT Drive Thru is a service innovation designed to streamline the motor vehicle tax renewal process in a faster and more efficient. This research aims to evaluate the extent to which SAMSAT Drive Thru has influenced the compliance behavior of motor vehicle taxpayers in paying their taxes. The research method involves surveys and primary data analysis, as well as a review of the literature related to motor vehicle taxes and the SAMSAT Drive Thru service. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of SAMSAT Drive Thru has made a positive contribution to the improvement of compliance among motor vehicle taxpayers in Medan. Public satisfaction with this service is high, and the efficiency of the tax renewal process has motivated taxpayers to fulfill their tax obligations. These findings provide valuable insights for local governments and relevant agencies in developing the SAMSAT Drive Thru service in other regions. By increased taxpayers compliance, regional revenue can be improved, which, in turn, will support various development programs and public services. Sustained efforts to improve the efficiency and quality of the SAMSAT Drive Thru service are expected to strengthen the compliance level of motor vehicle taxpayers in Medan.
