Sistem Informasi Berbasis Web pada Perpustakaan Kota Medan

Abstract

Library is an institution or organization that aims to provide access to library materials and information. Medan Municipality Library provides a Web- based Information System service that can be accessed by library users anywhere through Internet network. This research paper is written by conducting literature study at Medan Municipality Public Library located on Jalan Iskandar Muda No.270 Medan. In addition, interviews are conducted with parties associated with the research. The research results indicate that because of the existence of City Library website, users can access the features available on the website, and it provides them ease to find the information they need.
