dc.description.abstractCommunication is the process of conveying understanding in the form of ideas or information from one person to another. This final assignment research aims to determine the role of communication in improving the performance of a secretary at the Medan Legal Aid Institute. The method used in this final assignment research is a qualitative method, namely interviews. The results of the research show that the role of communication in improving the performance of a secretary at the Medan Legal Aid Institute will greatly influence the secretary's performance, especially well-developed communication between the secretary and the leadership, employees within the scope of the Medan Legal Aid Institute, so the secretary at the Medan Legal Aid Institute can increasing motivation at work, meaning that communication is an important element to increase the motivation of a secretary at the Medan Legal Aid Institute because good communication can influence a secretary to be more active in working.en_US
