Kegiatan Layanan Sirkulasi di Perpustakaan Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara

Abstract

This final project was conducted at the Library of North Sumatra Islamic University to investigate the circulation service activities. The study employed various data collection methods, including literature review, observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings revealed five key circulation service activities at the Library of North Sumatra Islamic University: member registration, crucial for ensuring comprehensive access to library collections and facilities; borrowing and returning services, involving interaction between users, the targeted book, and the library member card; collection of fines; issuance of loan-free certificates; and statistical analysis of borrowing and returning transactions.
