dc.description.abstract | The use of conventional stoves often experiences problems, for example a lack of
fuel sources, problems with gas cylinder leaks, and exploding gas causing fires. To
limit these problems, induction stoves must be an option because they have a more
effective level of safety and are also a solution to electrical emergency problems,
saving electrical power in a short time. On an induction stove using a ZVS (Zero
Voltage Switching) module which is supplied by a lithium-ion battery, at 0 - 3
minutes it shows room temperature from 32.6 °C to 64.9 °C with a stable current
of 17 A (rounded). When heating the water, in minutes 4 - 19 there is a very drastic
decrease in current showing a figure of 8 A (rounded) at a temperature of 65 °C so
that the duration of heating the water is too long (temperature increases every 2 °C
(rounded)). This is because the working system in the ZVS module does not work
well and it is possible that there are not many turns in the coil. For further research,
it is necessary to pay attention to the ZVS module or make a ZVS assembly as
desired in order to get a faster cooking process that is the same as an AC induction
