Staphylococcus aureus is a dry socket pathogenic bacterium, as a result of tooth removal that does not occur in the area, due to increased fibronylitis, exposed to soft tissue and bone in the oral cavity. Treatment with the antibotic Methicillin (MRSA) has resistance to the bacteria Staphylococcus aureus, thus alternating treatment of lime peel herbs. The lime peel can be used as antibacterial because it has an essential oil content, in which flavonoids, alkaloid, saponins and tannins interfere with cell wall membrane instability and cytoplasmic leakage of proteins and enzymes causing bacterial lysis. The purpose aims to find out the inhibitory zone, minimum inhibitory level (KHM) and minimum kill rate (KBM) of lime peel extract at 5%, 15% and 25%. The method method of the former experimental laboratory is by post test only control group with 5 times that. The extraction test Using Maseration, the diffusion method for obtaining the inhibitory zone is used in digital torus calipers while KHM and KBM use the data dilution method analyzed with One way ANOVA and statistical product solution for windows (SPSS) Research results 5%, 70mm, and 14.96mm. Minimum inhibition rate 5% and minimum kill rate 25%. The conclusion is that increasing extract concentration will reduce the antioxidant antibacterial bioactive compound of lime peel to the growth of Staphylococcus aureus ATCC®33592™ .en_US
