Analisis Pengaruh Industri Informasi dan Komunikasi terhadap PDB Sektor Informasi dan Telekomunikasi

Abstract

This study aims to delve into the influence of the information and communication industry on the economic growth of a country or region. The information and communication industry has become a major driver in the global economic transformation, especiallyi in the rapidly evolving digital era. The service sector has contributed to Indonasia's GDP as the largest contributor to non-tax state revenue from the Information and Communication sector through BHP payments. In this study, the relationship between the information and communication industry and the GDP of the Information and Communication Sector will be specically examined. According to its method, this research includes ex post facto research which examines cause and effect relationships. Meamwhile, according to the type of data and analysis, this study is quantitative data. The research uses Error Correction Model (ECM) data analysis tecltniques. The results of this study show that Indonesia's information and communication Sector GDP shows a tendency to increase, while the stock prices information and communication industry companies fluctuate with a stable tendency. The information and communication industry has been proven to affect the GDP of the information and communication sector, with a positive and significant contribution.
