dc.description.abstract | Most young entrepreneurs experience a decline in performance in running their businesses, such as young entrepreneurs who are members of HIPMI Medan City. Young entrepreneurs in HIPMI Medan City do not have confidence (Self Efficacy) and good abilities, which has an impact on the development of their businesses, lack confidence in entrepreneurship and many of them do not have expertise in the field of business they are involved in. Leadership and business experience are needed to increase Self Efficacy or self-confidence of an entrepreneur. The absence of self-confidence (Self Efficacy) makes it difficult for entrepreneurs to find creative and innovative ideas which causes a decrease in business performance. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of Self efficacy, Leadership and business experience on entrepreneurial performance with innovative behavior in HIPMI Medan City. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study is a member of BPC HIPMI Medan City A total of 350 respondents then determined the sample size using the slovin formula with a sample of 187 respondents. The sampling method used is simple random sampling. Data analysis is carried out through PLS-SEM using the SmartPLS program. The results showed that Self Efficacy has a positive and significant effect on Performance, Leadership has a positive and significant effect on Performance, Business Experience has a positive and significant effect on Performance, Self Efficacy has a negative and insignificant effect on Innovative Behavior, Leadership positive and significant effect on Innovative Behavior, Business Experience has a positive and significant effect on Innovative Behavior, Innovative Behavior has a positive and significant effect on Performance, Self Efficacy has a negative and insignificant effect on Performance through Innovative Behavior, Leadership has a positive and significant effect on Performance through Innovative Behavior, Trying Experience has a positive and significant effect on Performance through Innovative Behavior. | en_US |
