Prolonged airway obstruction during the period of facial growth may impact craniofacial structures. Deformity of craniofacial structures can be a factor leading to reduced airway dimensions. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences and relationships of craniofacial structures with pharyngeal airway dimensions in patients with mouth breathing and patients with normal breathing. This study is a descriptive study with analytic method. The study samples were 10 cephalograms of normal breathing patients and 10 cephalograms of mouth breathing patients with skeletal class II. Determination of landmarks in this study using manual methods and measurements using the Corel-draw application. Differences in craniofacial structure and pharyngeal airway dimensions between each group were processed through the Unpaired T-test. The relationship between craniofacial structure in oral breathing patients and pharyngeal airway dimensions was processed through the Pearson test. The results showed that the mandibular and oropharyngeal U-MPW plane angles had significant differences (p<0.05) between each group. There was no significant relationship between craniofacial structure and pharyngeal airway dimensions. The conclusion of this study is that an increase in the measurement of anteroposterior relation and an increase in the vertical height of the face do not have a significant relationship to the narrowing of the pharyngeal airway dimensions.en_US
