dc.description.abstractThis research aims to analyze and determine the effect Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Operational Costs on Operating Income (BOPO), Non Performing Financing (NPF) and Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) on Profitability with Return On Assets (ROA). Sharia Commercial Banks in Indonesia from 2016 to 2020 The population in this study were 14 Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia registered with the Financial Services Authority and Bank Indonesia in 2016-2020, with a total sample of 12 Islamic Commercial Banks, which were observed for 5 years. This study uses panel data in the form of combined data between time series and cross sections, namely annual data on the ROA of unum syariah banks and CAR, FDR, and BOPO in Indonesia from 2016 to 2020. The data obtained were analyzed using the Eviews 10 tool. used are descriptive statistics, classical assumption test, and multiple linear regression for hypothesis testing. Based on the results of data processing using hypothesis testing, it shows that partially the increase in assets has a positive and insignificant effect on ROA, CAR has a significant positive effect on ROA, NPF has a negative and insignificant effect on ROA. ROA, FDR have a positive and insignificant effect on ROA, Operational Costs on Operational Income have a significant negative effect on Return on Assets, The predictive ability of these four variables on Return on Assets is 69.78%, while the remaining 30.22% is influenced by other factors outside mo del this research.en_US
