This research delves into the determinants of credit distribution at the
conventional banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from the period of
2017 until 2022. The dependent variable is credit distribution, independent
variables are namely third-party fund, non-performing loans, and loan to deposit
ratio, and profitability as the moderator. The analysis methods used in this
research consist of multiple linear regression, paired-samples T test, and
moderated regression. The research employs 40 banking companies with 240
data. The results indicate that third party fund and loan to deposit ratio
significantly and positively affect credit distribution. Non-performing loan
insignificantly and positively affect credit distribution. In addition, there are
significant differences in the level of third-party fund and loan to deposit ratio
pre- and post-Covid-19 pandemic. However, there is no significant difference in
the level of non-performing loan. Profitability is not able to moderate all effects of
independent variables on credit distribution.
