The objective of the research is to find out some factors which influenced the oil palm farmers' income in Labuhanbatu Utara Regency with production as intervening variable, the income as dependent variable, and land area, cost for fertilizers, manpower, and sale price as independent variables. The population is 20.861 oil palm famers in eight sub-districts, and 100 of them are used as the samples. The data consist of primary and secondary data which are analyzed by using path analysis as the development of multiple regression analysis which describes the big and indirect influence of independent variable on dependent variable, using IBM SPSS AMOS 22 software. The result of the research in the first sub-structure shows that land are, cost for fertilizers, and sale price partially have positive and significant influence on oil palm production in Labuhanbatu Utara Regency while manpower has positive but insignificant influence. Simultaneously, land area, cost for fertilizers, manpower, and sale price have the influence on production at R-square of 0.975. At the second sub-structure, land area and cost for fertilizers have positive but insignificant influence on farmers' income, sale price and production have positive and significant influence on income, and manpower has negative but significant influence on income. Simultaneously, land area, cost for fertilizers, manpower, sale price, and production have the influence on income at R-square of 0.997. The result of path analysis shows that land area, cost for fertilizers, and sale price indirect and significant correlation with farmers' income through production while manpower has indirect influence on farmers through production.
