The onset of menarche is influenced by genetic and environmental factors and their interactions. Bisphenol A (BPA) is a chemical compound known as an endocrine disruptor that affect the onset of menarche because its estrogenic characteristics. Objective: Determine the correlation between bisphenol A and menarche in adolescent girls at Darul Arafah Raya boarding school. Statistical analysis was done to assess the relationship between BPA levels and menarche in adolescent girls using the Mann Whitney test on data that was not normally distributed. Results: Thirty subjects were recruited in this study. BPA was found in 3 (10%) children, all of them experienced menarche at the age of 11 years. Meanwhile, 27 children who had no detectable BPA in their urine, the average age at menarche was 11.15 years. In this study, no significant relationship was found between BPA in urine and age at menarche (p = 0.646). Conclusion: There is no significant relationship between BPA and menarche in adolescent girls.en_US
