    Abstract
Background: One of the cancers with a high mortality rate is lung cancer with an average of 13% of all newly diagnosed cancer cases. Lung cancer is divided into small cell lung cancer (SCLC) and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) subtypes. Tumor markers are substances that can be used to detect changes that occur due to cancer. One of the tumor markers used is carcinoembryogenic antigen (CEA). Cluster Of Differentiation 4 (CD4+) is a polyfunctional cell that is the second arm of adaptive T cell immunity along the Cytotoxic Lymphocyte T (CTL) lineage. CD4+ T cells differentiate into one of several functional subtypes in response to incoming signals. Objective: To determine the value of CEA and CD4 levels in patients with JPBSK. Methods: This study is an observational study with blood collection in patients with NSCLC. Results: Most lung cancer patients were aged 41-60 years (55%). Most NSCLC patients were male as many as 20 people (100%). Based on the type of histology, most NSCLC patients were adenocarcinoma type lung cancer as many as 12 (60%), 7 (35%) squamous cell carcinoma type lung cancer and only 1 (5%) large cell carcinoma type lung cancer. CEA levels of NSCLC patients showed an increase in the abnormal range of 3 samples (15%), CD4 + levels of NSCLC patients showed an increase in the abnormal range of 1 sample (5%).
