dc.description.abstractA repair shop is a business that moves through a series of processes, one of which is the process of dismantling the gearbox. Disassembling the gearbox is an activity that is quite often accepted in workshops and takes quite a lot of time. The KLG Otomotive workshop had several obstacles in the process of dismantling the gearbox, namely that there were operators who were idle during several work operations and experienced several complaints of musculoskeletal disorders. This obstacle occurred because the demolition process still used a work system that was not optimal, as well as minimal supporting equipment. The process of dismantling the gearbox took 1604 seconds (26.73 minutes) with 2 workers still idling due to an inefficient work system and minimal supporting equipment, thereby increasing the processing time. Proposed improvements to this work system need to be made to overcome problems during the demolition. In this proposed improvement, research was carried out on workshop owners using a Macro Ergonomics approach to produce a more effective and efficient Flow Process Chart, as well as output from the Standard Nordic Questionnaire to be given for consideration.en_US
