Abstract
Clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) is an effort to create a healthy environment for everyone to behave healthily to improve the health of family members or individuals so that they can play an active role in every health activity in the community. Nationally, there are 8 indicators used as measures to assess and determine Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) in educational institutions. This research aims to identify clean and healthy living behavior among junior high school (SMP) students in Klambir Village, Hamparan Perak Sub-district. Measuring clean and healthy living behavior involves 3 measurements; knowledge, attitudes and PHBS actions among adolescents at Almanar Junior High School, Klambir Village, Hamparan Perak Sub- district. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method. Total sampling technique is used in this research. The samples are 80 teenagers at Almanar Junior High School. The results of this research indicate that 49 students of Almanar Junior High School, Klambir Village, Hamparan Perak Sub-district (61.3%) have good indicators of knowledge about Clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS). PHBS attitude indicators are in the good category, 41 people (51.3%), and PHBS action indicators are also in the good category, 44 people (55%). It can be concluded that in general, the clean and healthy living behavior of students at Almanar Junior High School, Klambir Village, Hamparan Perak Sub-district is in the good category.
