Senior of university student feel that the are severely intimidated by their obligation to write thesis. They encounter complicated problems when they attend "undergraduated thesis writing" course. Consequently, they will get problems in their physical, mental, and social health as well as bad academic performance. Thesis writing is a must for a student to be able to finish their study in almost all universities. In reality, many of them lag behind in the passing grades due to the discomfort in attending the lecture. The objective of the research is to identify the description of seniors' discomfort during the lecture in thesis writing course, Nursing Science Study Program, in Medan. The research uses quantitative research method. The population is all seniors who attend the thesis writing, and
100 of them are used as the samples, taken by using accidental sampling technique. The research instrument is questionnaire which has been validated by the lecturers as basic nursing experts with the reliability test value of0.953 > 0.6. The result of the research shows that 65% of the respondents feel uncomfortable in attending the lecture with the subject of Thesis Writing in the Nursing Science Study Program, in Medan. This research is expected to be able to provide description for increasing counseling Jot this discomfort. It is also expected to be the input for lecturers in creating a supporting environment for seniors' reassurance.
