Determinan Pemilihan Fasilitas Kesehatan Tingkat Pertama (FKTP) di Kecamatan Binjai Kota Tahun 2023

Abstract

There are many factors behind each individual's consideration in choosing health services. With regard to local health care systems, the costs of accessing health services (money and time) can be a significant burden for the poor and a barrier to their utilization. Additionally, the attitudes and behavior of health care providers in a facility may influence health-seeking behavior by local residents. Based on initial studies conducted at the Binjai City Community Health Center, patient visit data in 2020 was 11,850 visits with coverage of 35%. In 2021, the number of patient visits at the Binjai City Health Center will be 10,779 visits with coverage of 31%. Meanwhile, in 2022, the number of patient visits at the Binjai City Health Center will be 9,962 visits with coverage of 29%. This research aims to determine the Determinants of Selection of First Level Health Facilities (FKTP) in Binjai Kota District in 2023. The research location was carried out in Binjai Kota District using quantitative research methods and data collection methods, namely interviews with questionnaires and observation of 89 respondents selected based on the Slovin formula , then the results of interviews and observations will be analyzed according to the variables resulting in univariate analysis and bivariate analysis. The results of this research show that distance and economic status of respondents are related to the selection of FKTP in Binjai Kota District in 2023 with a P value ≤ 0.05.
