dc.description.abstract | The achievement of the Minimum Service Standards (SPM) in the health sector in general in Binjai City is at 62% and ranks 17th of all city districts in North Sumatra Province. Based on the results of a preliminary study at the Binjai City Community Health Center, it is known that diabetes mellitus ranked first as a diseases in the Community Health Center with the presentation of SPM DM achievements at Binjai City Community Health Center at 70% which can be concluded not yet achieved the SPM target of 100%. The aim of this research is to analyze the achievement of minimum service standards for diabetes mellitus services at the Binjai City health center. This type of qualitative research (case study design) uses the in-depth interview method. The population in this study were health workers at the Binjai City Health Center. The samples in this study were the Head of the Community Health Center, KTU of the Community Health Center, Treasurer of the Community Health Center, Person in Charge of PTM/SPM for preparing SPM reports, Binjai City Health Service for PTM. The measurement method was carried out using in-depth interviews with each respondent.The results show that the problem of Minimum Service Standards is hampered at the Binjai City Community Health Center, especially in the case of expert staff who lack support and training, only have 1 person, and in carrying out implementation related to DM, funding is also quite lacking in terms of implementation allocation Activities in this case are not supported by community participation in implementing diabetes mellitus. It is hoped that there will be assistance and coordination from the Community Health Center with the Health Service to maximize services to achieve Minimum Service Standards. | en_US |
