Peran Partai Gerindra dalam Pemberdayaan Ekonomi Kerakyatan di Desa Aras Kabu, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Provinsi Sumatera Utara

Abstract

This thesis is motivated by the role of the Gerindra Party DPC of Deli Serdang Regency in empowering the economy of the Aras Kabu Village community. The problem experienced by farmers in Aras Kabu Village is complaining about the increase in fertilizer prices, so that farmers with small capital experience slight obstacles in increasing their agricultural productivity. This thesis aims to determine the role of the Gerindra Party in empowering the people's economy in Aras Kabu Village and this empowerment aims to conduct political recruitment. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, namely research that aims to present facts and events systematically and accurately and analyze their truth based on data obtained in the field. Data collection techniques in this study are interview techniques and literature studies. Based on the results of the research and discussion, the role of the Gerindra Party in empowering the community by providing fertilizer assistance to farmers and basic food assistance. Before the empowerment of farmers in Aras Kabu Village was carried out, the Gerindra Party had also empowered MSMEs. This aims to make the community empowered and independent, both socially and economically. The political goal of the Gerindra Party in this empowerment is to conduct political recruitment. This aims to expand and prepare quality cadres and also sympathizers through narratives built by the party to gain support in the 2024 Election. The response of the Aras Kabu Village community regarding the program carried out by Gerindra received a positive response.
