Identification of perineal wounds using the REEDA scale is crucial to determine the severity of perineal trauma associated with episiotomy or spontaneous rupture. This study aims to assess the perineal wound healing process in cases of delivery with episiotomy and spontaneous rupture. This quantitative descriptive study involved 30 postpartum mothers as respondents. The sampling technique used was Non-Probability Sampling with a Purposive Sampling method. The results showed that the average REEDA scale on the 2nd day for episiotomy wounds was 13.00±0.000, and on the 7th day, it was 0.50±0.707. For spontaneous rupture wounds, the average REEDA scale on the 2nd day was 12.57±0.920, and on the 7th day, it was 0.32±0.548. These findings indicate a significant difference in average REEDA scores between the 2nd and 7th days for both episiotomy and spontaneous rupture deliveries. The perineal wound healing process in cases of episiotomy and spontaneous rupture showed good progress.en_US
