Analisis Pengelolaan Limbah Padat Medis dan Non Medis di RSUD dr. Hadrianus Sinaga Kabupaten Samosir Tahun 2024

Abstract

dr. Hadrianus Sinaga Regional General Hospital Samosir Regency is a type C hospital located in Samosir Regency, North Sumatra Province. Based on a preliminary survey, it is known that the average weight of medical solid waste is 25 kg per day and the average weight of non medical solid waste is 231 kg per day, medical and non medical solid waste in one place, officers have not used complete PPE, the hospital has incinerator but not used. Based on this, research needs to be carried out regarding the management of medical and non medical solid waste. This type of research is descriptive observational which aims to analyze the process of managing medical and non medical solid waste at dr. Hadrianus Sinaga Regional General Hospital Samosir Regency with research objects of 15 rooms. The research results showed that the weight of medical solid waste was 8,395 kg in 1 year, the weight of non medical solid waste was 84,418 kg in 1 year, the sorting of medical solid waste and the sorting of non medical solid waste in all rooms met the requirements, the containerization of non medical solid waste in all rooms met the requirements , transportation and storage of non medical solid waste meets the requirements, processing and destruction of medical solid waste and non-medical solid waste meets the requirements. Containing medical solid waste in the UTDRS room, recovery room and PONEK does not meet the requirements, transportation and storage of medical solid waste does not meet the requirements. Advice to RSUD dr. Hadrianus Sinaga Samosir Regency to record the weight of medical solid waste and non medical solid waste in each room every month, provide color coding and B3 symbols in several rooms that do not meet the requirements, and use special transport trains in accordance with Minister of Health Regulation Number 7 of 2019 concerning Hospital Environmental Health and storage at TPS have different temperatures for each type of medical solid waste.
