    Abstract
Physical Activity can be defined as every bodily movement that is performed by skeletal muscle and · requires energy expenditures, encompassing activities at home, work, and sport. Lack of physical activity insignificantly contributes to the increase in pain levels of dysmenorrhea. The objective of this research is to reveal the correlation between levels of physical activity and pain levels of dysmenorrhea suffered by the adolescent girls at UPT SMP Negeri (State Junior High School) 35 Medan. This research uses descriptive correlational design with a sample size of 75 respondents, taken by using Stratified Random Sampling technique with Cross-Sectional method. The instrument used in this research is PAQ-C (Physical Activity Questionnaire for Older Children) and pain scale of NRS (Numeric Rating Scale). The research findings show that the majority of the respondents, 43 respondents (57.3%), rarely do physical activity. Majority of the respondents, 44 respondents (58.7%), have moderate pain levels of dysmenorrhea. The results of Spearman A/in statistical test indicate p value= 0.24/ (p>0.05) and it can be concluded that levels of physical activity are not correlated with pain levels of dysmenorrhea suffered by the adolescent girls at UPT SMP Negeri 35 Medan. Future researches are suggested to use a more accurate and detailed data collection method for physical activity which distinguishes sport activities from non-sport activities.
