dc.description.abstract | The type of research conducted is descriptive quantitative with a cross sectional study approach which aims to analyze the quality of work life in Z generation and millennial nurses at Grandmed Hospital. The subjects in this study were 28 Z generation nurses and 55 millennials. The category assessment is divided into 2 categories, namely the unfavorable and favorable categories. Assessment of the quality of work life there are 8 components based on the results of the median value. If the results > median, it is produced as a good category, while the data results ≤ median, it is in the unfavorable category. In the quality of work life component, it was found that communication, work environment safety, problem solving, employee involvement, available facilities, career development, pride in the hospital were in the good category in Z generation and millennial nurses. Meanwhile, Z generation sense of job security is in the unfavorable category and millennials are in the good category. The reason nurses do not feel safe in their work is because they are often exposed to various kinds of diseases from patients, although all nurses who are sick will be immediately followed up by other nurses and the hospital. The results of research on Z generation nurses were in the unfavorable category, namely 57.1%. While the results of research on millennial generation nurses were in the good category at 61.8%. It is recommended to more frequently monitor the activities of Z generation and millennial nurses while working and pay more attention to nurses' health so that nurses feel safer about their work. | en_US |
