Cannabis, which is included in the category of Narcotics class I, has problems regarding the legality of its use in the medical field. These narcotics are often hampered by regulations, state policies, and institutions authorized to carry out supervision and distribution. This study aims to analyze national and international legal policies in the use of medical cannabis for health services. The purpose of the narcotics law policy in the criminal act of class I narcotics abuse against other people is for health and legal analysis of a civil servant in Decision Number: 111/Pid.Sus/2017/PN. Sanggau. This study uses a normative juridical research method that is analytical descriptive using primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials collected by literature study techniques and analyzed using qualitative data analysis methods. The results of the study show that the legality of the use of cannabis in the medical field does not have a definite reduction as a result of Law number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics prohibiting the use of cannabis in the health sector but Law number 36 of 2009 concerning health provides space with recommendations and supervision and results in no given permission to use marijuana in decision number 111/Pid.sus/2017/PN. Sanggau. International legal policies in the Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs in 1961 provided an opportunity for the creation of the use of cannabis in the medical field with clear research.en_US
