dc.description.abstract | Complete basic immunization coverage in Indonesia has not yet reached the target
of Renstra of 92.9 persen. IDL coverage at the Sadabuan Puskemas was 86,5
persen, much lower than the target of immunization of 95 persen. The objective of
the research is to find out the effect of the characteristics of women (occupation and
parity), the predisposing factors (knowledge and cofidence), and reinforcers factors
(support from husband and health care providers) on giving complete basic immunization to babies at Sadabuan Puskesmas. The research employs analytic quantitative observational method with case-control study. It was conducted at
Sadabuan Puskesmas from June, 2022 until June, 2023. The samples comprise 148
responden, consisting of 74 case samples and 74 control samples, taken by using binomunal proportional sampling technique. The data are analyzed by using with
univariate analysis descriptively, bivariate analysis with chi-square test and multivariate analysis with multiple logistic regression analysis. The results of the
research shows that there is a correlation between knowledge and giving complete basic immunization to babies at Sadabuan Puskesmas (p- value=0.042; OR=6,411; CI 95 persen=0,756-54,890), between husband’s support and giving complete basic immunization to babies at Sadabuan Puskesmas (p- value=0.001; OR=15,377; CI 95 persen =5,567-42,473), and between the support of health care provider and giving complete basic immunization to babies at Sadabuan Puskesmas (pvalue=0.003; OR=11,406; CI 95 persen=1,421-91,561). Suggestions to husband’s
to provide encouragement and motivation regarding complete basic immunization to mothers to increasing mothers knowledge about the importance of immunization in infants as well as delivering and facilitating mothers to health services. | en_US |
