dc.description.abstract | One of the efforts made is to improve the quality of human resources (HR), because HR is one of the most important resources in a company and is the spearhead for achieving company goals. Company goals will be achieved if employees are able to provide good performance. There are several factors that companies must fulfill, such as paying attention to the individual characteristics of the employees they recruit and fulfilling employee job satisfaction so that work motivation increases and employees can produce good performance. Research type of quantitative with Cross Sectional design. The total sample is 70 respondents. Data analysis used univariate analysis with frequencies, bivariate analysis used the Chi Square test, and multivariate analysis used the logistic regression test. The research results showed that 61 employees (87.1%) had good performance. Variables that have a relationship with employee performance are age (p value=0.001), education (p value=0.025), work length (p value=0.002), and job satisfaction in intensive aspects (p value=0.011), work facilities (p value=0.004), job-related perceptions (p value=0.023). There is an influence of individual characteristics (work length and education) on employee performance at PT. Hutama Karya Infrastructure (HKI) Zone 4 Langkat Regency. There is an influence of job satisfaction in the intensive aspect on employee performance at PT. Hutama Karya Infrastructure (HKI) Zone 4 Langkat Regency. The most dominant factor influencing employee performance at PT Hutama Karya Infrastruktur (HKI) Zone 4 Langkat Regency is work length. Recommendation for companies when recruiting companies should pay attention to the employee's work period, where employees who have a long work period will definitely have good performance because they have previous work experience. Companies should provide learning or training assignments to each employee. | en_US |
